After the January holidays, during which we eat heavy, high-calorie foods and often overeat, we want lightness both in food and in its preparation. Tabbouleh salad is easy to prepare. It will be an excellent side dish for a meat dish.
It is necessary
- Bulgur - 100 ml.,
- Tomato - 3 pcs.,
- Onion greens - 1 bunch
- Parsley greens - 2 bunches,
- 1/2 lemon juice,
- Tomato paste - 1 tbsp the spoon,
- Salt
Instructions
Step 1
Pour bulgur into a bowl, pour 200 ml. boiling water, cover and let it brew until the moisture is completely absorbed. This usually takes about 1 hour.
Step 2
Peel the tomatoes, remove the core, seeds and juice. Cut the pulp into small cubes.
Step 3
Rinse well and chop the onion and parsley finely. Mix all ingredients.
Step 4
Dilute tomato paste with cold drinking water to a liquid state (like tomato juice). Pour the salad with the resulting mixture and lemon juice, salt and mix thoroughly.
Step 5
It is customary to serve tabule with barbecue. However, it will go well with a variety of meat, poultry and fish dishes.
