It is necessary
- For the test:
- - cottage cheese - 200 g;
- - butter - 200 g;
- - egg yolks - 2 pcs;
- - vanilla - 1 sachet;
- - sugar - 1 tablespoon;
- - baking powder for dough - 5 g;
- - flour - 2 cups.
- Meringue:
- - egg whites - 2 pcs;
- - sugar - 1 glass;
- - lemon juice - 1 tablespoon;
- - walnuts - 100 g.
Instructions
Step 1
Combine the following ingredients in one loose bowl: granulated sugar, vanilla, softened butter, as well as cottage cheese and egg yolks. Mix everything thoroughly. Don't forget to add a baking powder to the mixture. If it is not, then enter the soda slaked with vinegar.
Step 2
Add pre-sifted flour to the resulting mass. Knead the dough until it stops sticking to your hands - it should be tough. Then wrap it with cling film and send it in the cold for a while.
Step 3
In the meantime, cook the meringue. To do this, mix granulated sugar with egg whites and whisk. Then add lemon juice to this mixture. Whisk until white, firm foam.
Step 4
Divide the cooled dough so that 3 equal parts are formed. Roll each of them with a rolling pin. Apply to the resulting layers of meringue in an even layer and sprinkle with chopped walnuts. Then wrap it up to make a roll.
Step 5
Cover the baking sheet with a sheet of parchment, and on it, respectively, place the rolls rolled from the dough. Take a knife and use it to make cuts on them obliquely at the same distance. Preheat the oven to a temperature of 180 degrees and send future cookies into it. It should be baked until it has a light brown crust.
Step 6
Break the cooled baked goods into pieces in the places where the cuts were made with a knife. Roll cookies with walnuts and meringue is ready!
