Krupenik is a kind of cake, only without flour and with a minimum amount of sugar. This cake can be made both sweet and not sweet. Completely different fillings go with it.
It is necessary
- - 200 ml of water
- - 100 g of cereals (in this case, buckwheat)
- - 2 eggs
- - 160 g of cottage cheese
- - 10 g sugar
- - a little butter
- - a pinch of salt
- - a few spoons of sour cream
Instructions
Step 1
Sort out buckwheat, removing fine debris and blackness, rinse well and dry.
Step 2
Pour the groats into a hot skillet and fry, stirring constantly.
Step 3
Take a saucepan, pour water into it, bring the water to a boil, and then add cereal and salt. While stirring, cook the porridge until thick, then place the pan in the oven or in a water bath.
Step 4
Wipe the cottage cheese with sugar, and then beat them with eggs, put the resulting mass in the cereal, add butter, mix everything well.
Step 5
Grease a large refractory skillet or baking sheet with butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Put the mass into the form, smooth it. Lubricate the top with a mixture of eggs and sour cream. Place the dish in an oven preheated to 200 degrees. Bake until tender.
Step 6
The finished dish can be served either as an independent dish or together with the first course. If it is on its own, then you can make it sweet by adding jam, sour cream with sugar, or condensed milk. If this is the second course, then you can serve it with sour cream, mushrooms, poultry or meat.
