  • - 150 g cream cheese;
  • - 100 g of margarine, hard cheese;
  • - 1 egg yolk;
  • - 1 teaspoon of baking powder;
  • - salt, red pepper, boiled smoked bacon, sesame seeds, feta cheese.

Step 1

Whisk margarine with curd cheese. Beat one egg yolk into this mass. Add coarse grated hard cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste, add flour sifted with baking powder. In case you didn't know, baking powder is a mixture of citric acid and baking soda, taken in equal proportions. Flour may require less or more.

Step 2

Knead an elastic dough, not very tough. Form a ball out of it, cover with cling film and put in the refrigerator for half an hour.

Step 3

Remove the chilled dough from the refrigerator, roll it into a circle about 5-7 mm thick. It is better to roll out the dough, covering it with a film, as it is very tender. Cut the dough into triangles.

Place a small piece of thinly sliced bacon and a slice of feta cheese on the wide end of the triangle. Repeat this procedure for all test triangles. Roll them up in a tube, brush each bagel with yolk mixed with milk and a pinch of salt. Sprinkle with sesame seeds on top, spread on a baking sheet.

Step 5

Bake the bacon and cheese bagels at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes. The bagels should be golden brown. Then let them sit on the baking sheet for 5-10 minutes. After that, immediately send the baked goods to the table, while they are warm and incredibly fragrant.
