If you haven't tried a quick and healthy oatmeal breakfast - granola - then it's time to catch up!
Granola is oatmeal baked with honey, nuts, dried fruits, candied fruits … whatever you like! You can compose your own, author's, recipe, with your own proportions, but if you are lost and do not know where to start or you are just too lazy, then I offer you two options to choose from:
1. Granola with condensed milk
I would call this version of granola winter, warming: a slightly caramel flavor, the aroma of cinnamon and nutmeg for some reason set you up for the New Year holidays. However, try it: it is possible that the dish will evoke different associations in your mind.
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp. peanut butter;
- 1/3 Art. boiled condensed milk;
- a pinch of cayenne pepper;
- 1/2 tbsp. cashew;
- 1/3 tsp cinnamon;
- 1 tbsp. liquid honey;
- 1/2 tbsp. almonds;
- a pinch of nutmeg;
- 2 tbsp. oatmeal;
- 40 g brown sugar;
- 1/3 tsp salt.
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 170 degrees. Line a baking sheet with baking paper. Coarsely chop the nuts and stir in a bowl of cereal. Mix all other ingredients separately.
Combine dry and liquid ingredients, grind well into crumbs and place on a baking sheet. Place in oven for 25-35 minutes. Stir the granola every 5 minutes so that it bakes evenly.
2. Tropical granola
And this granola, on the contrary, evokes associations with the azure sea, white sand and the sound of palm trees. This is due to dried tropical fruits!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 tbsp. dried pineapple;
- 1/2 st. pineapple juice;
- 2 tbsp. cashew;
- 1/2 tbsp. coconut oil;
- 1 tsp cinnamon;
- 4 tablespoons cane sugar;
- 1/2 tbsp. dried mango;
- 140 ml of honey;
- 4 tbsp. oatmeal;
- 1/2 tsp salt;
- 2 tsp vanilla extract.
Preparation
Also preheat the oven to 170 degrees and prepare a baking sheet. Combine coconut oil, pineapple juice, runny honey, cane sugar, and vanilla extract.
Mix dry ingredients separately. Cashews should be pre-chopped. Combine both mixtures, stir, place on a baking sheet, place in the oven for about 25 minutes. Don't forget to get in the way! The finished granola is golden brown in color.
Cool on a baking sheet and add chopped dried fruits. Both the first and second granola should be stored in a tightly closed jar in a dark, dry place.
