Petit pain is translated from French as "little bread". The bread turns out to be incredibly airy, with a golden crust, very soft and porous inside.
It is necessary
- - 160 ml of water
- - 1 egg
- - 2 tbsp. l. honey
- - 370 g flour
- - 1 tsp. vegetable oil
- - 30 g butter
- - 1.5 tsp yeast
- - salt to taste
- - 10 g oatmeal
Instructions
Step 1
Knead the yeast dough. Combine butter, honey, yeast, flour, egg, salt to taste and add water. The dough should be tender, docile and soft. Put it in a warm place so that it will increase 2-3 times.
Step 2
Grind the oatmeal in a blender. Divide the dough into 10 equal pieces. Make oval balls. Cover the dough with cling film. It should double in volume.
Step 3
Use a rolling pin or a wooden spoon handle to press in the middle of the ball.
Step 4
Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil and place the bread on top of it. Sprinkle with oatmeal.
Step 5
Bake the bread in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 15-25 minutes, until golden brown.
