Obzhorki are small portioned balls made from fish pate with eggs and rice. Such an appetizer will come in handy at the buffet table. Children just love "gluttony", especially if they themselves took part in their preparation.
It is necessary
- - 1 can of sprat in oil;
- - 3 eggs;
- - 100 grams of rice;
- - 1 small onion;
- - 100 grams of butter;
- - salt, black pepper to taste
- - parsley and basil for garnish.
Instructions
Step 1
Food preparation
Remove the oil from the refrigerator so that it softens slightly. Hard-boiled eggs, cool, peel. Remove the yolks, finely chop the whites, and grate the yolks into crumbs using a fine grater.
Step 2
Boil the rice until tender, put it in a colander so that all the water is glass. Peel the onion and chop very finely. Put the sprats together with the oil into a bowl and knead thoroughly with a fork until they become a paste.
Step 3
Cooking snacks
Add chopped proteins and onions, rice, softened butter to the sprats and mix everything very thoroughly. Using two teaspoons moistened with cold boiled water, or simply with your hands, mold balls of "gluttony" from the resulting mixture, roll them in yolk crumbs and put on a dish.
Step 4
The "obzhorki" must be kept in the refrigerator for two hours. Garnish with parsley and basil before serving.
