You won't surprise anyone with a liver cake, but we will prepare a familiar dish with a nutty flavor. For the decoration of the finished cake, you can take any products; boiled quail eggs are well suited.
It is necessary
- - 500 g of chicken liver;
- - 200 g of mayonnaise;
- - 100 ml of milk;
- - 1 glass of flour;
- - 2 cups of walnuts;
- - 5 eggs;
- - 2 onions;
- - salt, pepper, oil for frying.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the liver, peel off excess films, place in a blender and whisk until puree. Pour the mixture into a bowl, add 2 chicken eggs, milk, pepper and salt, whisk. Add flour gradually. The mass should turn out to be liquidish - in consistency it resembles a batter for pancakes.
Step 2
Heat a frying pan, add oil, fry about 10 pancakes with a diameter of 18 centimeters from liver dough.
Step 3
Brown the walnuts in the oven for 7 minutes at 200 degrees, cool. Grind to a crumb state. Boil three chicken eggs hard-boiled, peel, chop smaller. Peel the onion, cut into small cubes, fry until lightly browned.
Step 4
Mix together chopped nuts, chicken eggs, mayonnaise, and onions. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Place 2 tablespoons of filling on each liver pancake, cover with another pancake and so collect the whole cake. Spread the top of the cake with mayonnaise, capturing the edges of the cake. Let soak in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Step 5
The nutty liver cake is ready, you can decorate it with fresh herbs and quail eggs - you can rub them on top or cut each boiled egg in half and decorate the top of the cake in halves. Serve chilled.
