Vanilla is an orchid fruit with a feminine taste and aroma. It is simply impossible to convey the aroma of pear and vanilla jam, make it yourself! The jam looks sunny and very interesting.
It is necessary
- - 450 g of pears;
- - 320 g of sugar;
- - 1 vanilla pod;
- - 1 orange;
- - 2 tbsp. spoons of water;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of zhelix.
Instructions
Step 1
Take juicy pears, moderately sweet and not very hard (preferably the Abbot variety), rinse, chop finely, the core and stalk, of course, must be removed. Fill the prepared pears with 80 g of sugar, leave for 1 hour.
Step 2
Rinse the fresh orange, peel off the zest, squeeze out all the juice. Pour the juice into a saucepan, add water and the remaining sugar there, boil for 3 minutes. Add pears with sugar. Bring the mixture to a boil, remove the pan from heat. Cool to room temperature.
Step 3
Add the contents of the vanilla stick and the stick itself, add the orange zest, bring everything to a boil again and cool.
Step 4
Add the specified amount of zhelfix to the jam, if you could not buy it, then you can add 10 g of pectin instead. Although it is an optional ingredient in this recipe, it is still advisable to add it. Boil the pear and vanilla jam for a couple of minutes. Then cool again.
Step 5
Ready-made pear jam can already be served on the table. Or you can pour it into jars and put it in the refrigerator. The jam is stored for a long time in a closed container.
