Pink salmon is a fish from the salmon family, but although it belongs to the same genus as trout or salmon, it is much less tasty - its meat is usually dryish. Pink salmon is not suitable for frying or cooking in a double boiler, and you need to bake it skillfully so as not to dry it out.
It is necessary
-
- pink salmon;
- potatoes;
- mayonnaise;
- sour cream;
- salt;
- seasonings;
- flour;
- vegetable oil
- onion;
- garlic;
- tomatoes;
- tomato paste;

Instructions
Step 1
Gut the pink salmon, clean and remove the head. If you are using frozen fish, then defrost it in advance, on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator.
Step 2
Cut the fish into pieces approximately 3-4 cm thick.
Step 3
Peel the potatoes and cut them across into 3-4 pieces or in half, depending on the size of the potatoes.
Step 4
Mix mayonnaise with sour cream in proportions one to one, add salt and seasonings to taste.
Step 5
Grease a large baking sheet with vegetable oil and spread the fish and potatoes on it. Lubricate everything liberally with a mixture of mayonnaise and sour cream.
Step 6
Place in preheated oven and bake until potatoes are tender.
Step 7
You can also use another method of cooking pink salmon in the oven. Dip the fish cut into pieces in flour and fry in vegetable oil until light golden brown.
Step 8
Prepare the sauce. To do this, peel the onion and garlic and cut them into strips. Fry lightly in vegetable oil and add 100-150 g of tomato paste. Cut the tomatoes into cubes and add to the onion and garlic along with a little sugar, salt and pepper. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Step 9
Fold the fried pieces of pink salmon into a fireproof dish and pour over the prepared sauce.
Step 10
Place the dish in a preheated oven and cook for about 20 minutes.
Step 11
Finally, the third way is stuffed pink salmon baked in foil. Take a large piece of fish from the middle of the carcass and remove the bones from it. If you have a small fish, you can use it whole.
Step 12
Finely chop the onion, garlic and dill and mix with salt and pepper. Stuff the pink salmon with the prepared mixture. If you are using fillets - just pour the mixture on one piece and cover with another, if you are using a whole fish - fill its belly.
Step 13
Coat the fish with vegetable oil and wrap in a piece of foil.
Step 14
Bake in a preheated oven for about 30 minutes.
