Mastic is a soft mass that resembles plasticine in its structure. It is very convenient to work with it, to create the necessary forms. It does not stick to your hands and stains well. Cakes decorated with mastic figurines arouse enthusiastic interest in adults and children.

- - 1, 5 cups of powdered sugar.

Step 1
Take marshmallows, marshmallows, or marshmallows. Sort by color - put the white candies in one container and the pink ones in another. Add one tablespoon of lemon juice or water to each container. Mix everything and place in the microwave for 15 seconds. You can heat marshmallows in a water bath. After warming up, the mass should increase in volume and melt a little.

Dissolve the desired food coloring in a cup of warm water, put the mixture in it and mix gently with a tablespoon. Sift the icing sugar and gradually pour it into a container with marshmallows. Mix well with a spoon or spatula. Sprinkle some powdered sugar on the table, lay out the mastic and wrinkle it with your hands. It should not stick to your hands, but should acquire the consistency of soft plasticine.
Step 3
Wrap the mastic on all sides with cling film and put in the refrigerator for 25 minutes. Sprinkle the table with starch and place the prepared mass on it. Roll out thinly with a rolling pin. In the process of making products, mastic may not roll out well, then heat it up in the microwave.

Prepare different figures and flowers from the finished mastic. Basically, animal figurines are used to decorate cakes for children's holidays.

Make a squirrel. To do this, paint the finished mastic with dyes in orange. Form a ball from which to mold an elongated carrot. Fold it in half, and bend the tip into a ring. Make a head from the thick end. Roll up the roller - this will be the body of the squirrel, stick the legs. On the head, sculpt sharp ears on both sides, make a muzzle. Blind a cone from green or brown mastic.
Step 6
Craft a frog. To do this, paint the mastic green. Roll up two small balls. Form a square out of them - this will be the body of the frog and a triangle - the head. Place them on top of each other. Sculpt 4 legs. Using a toothpick, draw the nose, lips, and folds on the frog's legs. Make eyes out of white mastic, and make pupils out of small pieces of chocolate.
Step 7
You can make a teddy bear. Roll the torso out of the mastic in the form of a barrel, mentally divide it into three parts and make two small notches. The first and second parts are the legs, and the third is the head. Blind them with your hands. Mark the ears at the head. Pull the muzzle a little, make the eyes and nose out of chocolate. Fashion a scarf around the neck, and put a keg of honey in the paws of the bear.

Decorate the cake with the finished figures.
