Instructions
Step 1
Of course, all these healing properties are best preserved in a berry just plucked from a branch, but the workpieces are tasty and healthy. Honey-brewed sea buckthorn jam combines the double benefits of these unique products. Almost all berries and fruits can be canned with honey instead of sugar. Frozen fruits are also good.
Step 2
First recipe. Rinse the sea buckthorn very gently and let it dry. Place the berries in a large clay pot, pour water and honey into it, and close the lid. You need to steam this mixture in an oven preheated to 70-80 ° C for 4-5 hours.
Step 3
Second recipe. Rinse the sea buckthorn very carefully and leave to dry. Pour the honey into a wide bowl and bring to a boil, stirring it with a silver or wooden spoon to prevent the product from sticking. Dip the berries in boiled honey and cook for 15-20 minutes. Store the finished jam in a dry, dark, cool place.
Step 4
Third recipe. Process the berry in the same way as in the first two options. Bring the honey to a boil and pour the sea buckthorn into it. Add the spices and, stirring gently, bring the jam over low heat until cooked. The dish turns out to be very aromatic and pleasant, it is good to use it with hot tea on long winter evenings.
Step 5
Fourth recipe. Prepare clean, dry sea buckthorn berries in the required amount. Bring the honey to a boil, stirring it with a wooden spoon. Grind the walnuts in a coffee grinder and simmer them in honey for 5-10 minutes. Add the berry mass to a simmering heat. Boil the treat for another 20 minutes after boiling the honey with sea buckthorn again.
Step 6
Fifth recipe. Divide the honey and sea buckthorn berries into equal portions. Purée these ingredients in a blender until you get a homogeneous mass. Spread the finished jam in sterilized jars, close the lids and place in a cool dark place. This recipe allows you to preserve almost all the valuable substances contained in sea buckthorn.
