Cherry liqueur is an alcoholic beverage made from cherry fruits and leaves. The delicious, aromatic cherry liqueur can be made at home.
Spicy cherry liqueur
To prepare liqueur according to this recipe, you will need the following ingredients:
- 1 kg of ripe cherries;
- 500 g of granulated sugar;
- 1 g vanillin;
- cinnamon stick;
- a pinch of nutmeg;
- 700 g of vodka.
Wash the cherries and place them in a three-liter jar, add sugar and spices, shake well. Close the jar of cherries with a nylon lid and store in a dark place. After ten days, add vodka to the jar and remove it for a month, then strain and bottle the liquor.
Cherry liqueur can be diluted with water, ice cube, milk, chocolate, cream, juice, or ice cream. It is also added to the composition of alcoholic cocktails.
Cherry liqueur
A thick liqueur with a rich cherry aroma is quite easy to prepare. The only difficulty that awaits you in the process of preparing this drink is the removal of seeds from the fruit, everything else will not require much effort and time. To make liqueur, you will need:
- 2.5 kg of cherries;
- 0.5 liters of water;
- 0.5 liters of vodka;
- 1 kg of sugar;
- 25 g of gelling sugar.
Sort out fresh cherries, peel them of stalks and wash in cold water. Remove the seeds from the processed fruits, use a juicer to squeeze the juice from the berries.
Liqueur is usually placed on the table for dessert dishes, tea or coffee.
Combine cherry juice with water, sugar and gelling agent. Put the container with this mixture on low heat and bring to a boil, then cook it for ten minutes, stirring constantly, to dissolve the sugar. After that, turn off the heat, add vodka to the cherry drink and stir. When the liquor has cooled, bottle it and store it in a cool place. Before serving, the bottle of liquor should be shaken well.
Cherry liqueur with lemon juice
A very simple way to make cherry liqueur, for it you will need:
- 300 g cherries;
- 200 g cherry leaves;
- 1.5 liters of water;
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice;
- 2 kg of sugar;
- 1 liter of vodka.
In its pure form, liqueur is drunk in one gulp from a glass with a capacity of 25 ml.
Pour the peeled cherries and leaves with water, boil for ten minutes, then add lemon juice and leave to infuse under the lid. After a day, strain the drink, add sugar to it and cook over low heat for half an hour. Then turn off the heat, add vodka to the cherry infusion and stir well. Strain the finished liquor through cheesecloth and pour into a bottle, serve chilled.
