There is another secret to keeping bananas both green and yellow. But it is relevant only if you do not want to eat them fresh, but plan to use them for baking or as an ingredient. In this case, simply cut the fruit into pieces, place it in a tightly closed container that will keep out odors, and send the bananas to the refrigerator.
