If you have kefir at your disposal, and you do not know what to make from it, I advise you to bake pancakes. Pancakes with kefir turn out to be incredibly tasty and light, and you can serve them with any jam, jam, honey, or wrap the filling in them at your discretion.
It is necessary
- - 500 ml of kefir;
- - five tablespoons of flour;
- - three eggs;
- - 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda;
- - 1/2 teaspoon of salt;
- - a tablespoon of sugar;
- - 30 ml of vegetable oil.
Instructions
Step 1
Take a deep bowl, break the eggs into it, and beat well for a minute using either a whisk or mixer.
Step 2
Add baking soda, salt, sugar to the eggs and stir everything to dissolve these ingredients.
Step 3
Sift the flour through a metal sieve two or three times (this procedure will help saturate the flour with oxygen and the pancakes will turn out to be more tender), then add it together with vegetable oil to the egg mass and mix.
Step 4
As soon as all of the above is done, pour half of the cooked kefir into a bowl (the fat content of kefir should not exceed 2.5%, since if you use more fatty kefir, the pancakes will turn out to be less thin), beat the mass and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
Step 5
Over time, pour the remaining kefir into the dough and beat again (after this beating, a lot of tiny bubbles should appear in the dough). The dough is ready, now you can start baking the pancakes directly.
Step 6
Put the pan on the fire and heat it over high heat. Once the pan is hot enough, pour some vegetable oil into it, reduce the heat to medium, scoop up a small amount of dough with a ladle, distribute it over the entire pan and fry the pancake on both sides until golden brown. The baking time of one pancake can vary from a minute to two, depending on the thickness of the pancake. In this way, bake pancakes from all the dough.
Step 7
Serve the pancakes to the table warm, seasoning them with jam, condensed milk, butter, etc.
