Fish curry is a delicious, original, and most importantly healthy dish for the whole family! Curry will definitely surprise and delight you with its unusual taste!
It is necessary
- - 2 red chili peppers, cut in half
- - 1 stalk of lemongrass (lemongrass), chopped
- - 1 sweet onion, cut into quarters
- - 2 cloves of garlic, cut in half
- - 2.5 cm chopped ginger root small handful of cilantro leaves + some more to serve
- - zest of 1 lime
- - 1 tbsp. l. thai fish sauce
- - 400 ml coconut milk
- - 1 tsp. Sahara
- - 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil
- - 500 g skinless monkfish fillet, diced
- - 250 g haddock fillet, diced
Instructions
Step 1
Place chili, lemongrass, onion, garlic, ginger, cilantro, zest (leave a little for serving), fish sauce, 6 tablespoons of coconut milk, and sugar in a blender or food processor, and grind into a smooth paste.
Step 2
Heat the oil in a wok or skillet and add the paste. Cook for 2 minutes. Pour in the remaining coconut milk, bring to a boil and cook over low heat for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Add the fish and stir gently to distribute the sauce evenly. Simmer until tender. Stir regularly; try not to crush the fish.
Step 4
Serve curry in small bowls, sprinkled with cilantro and set aside lime zest.
