An experienced hostess always knows how to please her family and how to meet unexpected guests. In her arsenal there are many recipes for very tasty and, most importantly, simple pastries for tea.
Condensed milk pie: easy and quick
Required Ingredients:
- 1 can of condensed milk;
- 2 chicken eggs;
- 140 g of wheat flour;
- 1 tbsp. a spoonful of starch;
- 3/4 teaspoon of baking soda;
- a few drops of vinegar or lemon juice;
- 300-400 g of berry jam or jam;
- icing sugar;
- berries for decoration.
Beat eggs lightly and add condensed milk. Mix thoroughly (with a mixer or by hand) until smooth.
The dough will taste even more delicate if you use powdered sugar instead of sugar.
Pour in the sifted flour and starch (if there is no starch at hand, put another spoonful of flour) and mix well again.
Add the baking soda, after extinguishing it with vinegar or lemon juice, stir and put the dough in a baking dish greased with vegetable oil.
Place the pie in the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes at 180 ° C. Cut the cooled cake into 2 cakes.
As a filling for such a pie, jam or jam made from sour berries: currants, cranberries, blackberries are best suited.
Brush the bottom crust with berry jam or marmalade and cover with the top crust. Sprinkle icing sugar on top of the cake and garnish with fresh berries if desired.
Cottage cheese biscuits "Izuminka": simple homemade pastries for tea
To bake these cookies, you need the following ingredients:
- 200 g of cottage cheese;
- 2 cups wheat flour;
- 200 g of butter;
- 4 teaspoons of milk or boiled water;
- 50 g raisins (seedless);
- ½ cup granulated sugar;
- a pinch of vanillin.
Pour the raisins with hot boiled water and leave for a while to swell a little. Then rinse with cold water and pat dry on a paper towel. Mix raisins with granulated sugar, cottage cheese (if you are on a diet, use low-fat cottage cheese) and vanilla.
Add warm milk and softened butter to the curd mass (you can replace it with butter margarine). Gradually adding flour, knead the dough. Refrigerate the dough for about 25-30 minutes.
Roll out the chilled dough into a layer approximately 1 cm thick. Cut out figurines of any shape from the dough and place them on a baking sheet.
To cut out cookies, use special molds in the form of hearts, stars, flowers and other figures.
Bake the cookies in the oven at 180 ° C for 8-10 minutes. Sprinkle the finished cookies with icing sugar and serve immediately with tea.
