Step 1

Finely chop the onion, grate the carrots. Cut the meat into small pieces. Pour the vegetable oil into a hot skillet and heat it up.

Step 2

Place the pork in a skillet and fry each piece on all sides. If the meat does not fit in one layer in the pan, then fry it in portions and put it in a saucepan with thick walls. Pour boiling water over the meat so that the water only covers it, and put it to simmer over low heat, lightly salt and pepper.

Step 3

Put the chopped onion in the same pan, fry it until golden brown, then add the carrots and lightly save with the onion. Dilute the tomato paste slightly with water, if it is very thick and add it to the pan, mix everything and simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring constantly.

Step 4

Cut the cabbage into strips, if the straw is too long, then cut it into 2-3 pieces so that it is no more than 4-5 cm long.

Step 5

Place the cabbage in a skillet and fry with the carrots and onions. If it does not immediately fit in the pan, then add it in parts, because when frying, its volume greatly decreases. Season the vegetables with salt in the skillet and when the cabbage is tender, transfer them from the skillet to the pot where the meat is stewed.

Step 6

Stir the contents of the pan, close the lid, simmer over low heat for 10-15 minutes, then remove the pan from the stove and pour finely chopped garlic and herbs into it, mix everything, close the lid and set aside, let it stand for another 10 minutes. After that, stew with meat cabbage can be placed on plates and served.
