First of all, you need to prepare the blueberries. To do this, you need to sort out the berries, throwing out the leaves, twigs, crumpled and spoiled berries. Next, the blueberries must be washed under running water and dried - spread out on an absorbent towel. Clean and dry blueberries can be frozen, dried, preserved.

To dry the berries, you need a baking sheet, parchment or foil. The berries are laid out in one layer, covered with gauze and exposed to the sun. Turn the berries over several times a day.

You can also dry it using special dryers for fruits and vegetables. When using the dryer, the temperature is first set to 40 degrees, then it rises to 70.

Blueberries can be frozen. To do this, the berries are laid out on a cardboard or baking sheet, placed in the freezer. For convenience, you can lay paper or a bag on the baking sheet. Periodically "shake" the berries - this does not form lumps. Frozen blueberries are packed in plastic bags.

You can cook blueberries in your own juice. To do this, you need to take a large metal basin filled with water, put sterilized cans in it. Pour blueberries into jars, adding 1 tbsp. a spoonful of granulated sugar, close the lids. Next, a bowl with cans is put on a small fire. After a while, the berries will begin to settle. Add blueberries to each jar until the berries stop settling and the blueberry juice fills the entire container. At the end, the cans need to be rolled up with sterilized metal lids, the cans must be turned over, wrapped and left for a day. Later, the workpieces can be stored in a cool dark place - in the cellar.
