Step 1
The first step to peeling a coconut is choosing the right nut at the store. Choosing a nut in the store, guided by the following rules. The nut should be free of cracks, with an even shell, without bulges, and there should be no liquid drips on the nut. Shake the nut, there should be juice (coconut milk) inside. If there is no juice inside, do not take such a nut. So you've found the best nut of them all, the next step is to clean up.

Then we proceed directly to cleaning. There are two ways to peel a nut. When cleaning in the first way, the shell is thrown away. We take the hammer in one hand, and the coconut in the other. And we start gently, turning the coconut in our hand, tapping it with a hammer hard enough. Do this very carefully, take care of your hand and fingers. The shell of the walnut starts to crack, peel off the broken shells and continue knocking on. After a while, you will have a nut clean from the shell in your hands.
Step 3
Then punch a hole in the nut and drain the juice of the coconut, also called coconut milk. The smell of milk should not be sour. Drink milk and snack on fresh fragrant nut pulp.
Step 4
The second method of peeling a nut is more labor-intensive, but as a result of it we can get two halves of a nut shell, which are very well used on the farm. For example, halves of a coconut can be placed in an aquarium to feed catfish, or used in floriculture. For example, plant a small cactus in half a coconut, or make a planter out of a coconut.
So, in this case, a hole is first pierced in the coconut shell through which the coconut juice is drained, and then the coconut is sawn with a hacksaw either exactly in half, or with an offset to the top. In this case, it is more difficult to extract the pulp of the coconut, but it all depends on the purpose that we are pursuing.
