Step 1

You can also add mushrooms, potatoes, pickled vegetables, lemon slices and herbs. You will get a simple, but very beautiful and mouth-watering dish.

To serve herring with a head on the table, you need to do all the same steps as described in the previous case, adding a head, which can be decorated with a sprig of greenery.
