The liver is a very useful product. It is rich in vitamins A and B, as well as amino acids and minerals. Most often we cook and eat beef, pork, chicken liver. It can be fried, stewed, made liver pancakes with sauce, and even liver cake! You can also make a delicious and delicate liver pate. - 1 kg. liver
- 3 large onions
- 2 large carrots
- 200 gr. butter
- salt
- pepper.
Instructions
Step 1
Take the liver. If you have beef or pork liver, remove the film from it. Wash well and cut into slices suitable for frying. Remember to cut out the white streaks. If you have chicken livers, just rinse well. Season with salt and pepper in a bowl.
Step 2
Fry the liver on both sides in vegetable oil, after rolling it in flour. Transfer to a deep bowl.
Step 3
Finely chop the onion, rub the carrots on a coarse grater. In the same pan where the liver was fried, fry the onions first, and then add the carrots. Put it out all together for 5 minutes. Cool and add to the fried liver.
Step 4
Take a blender and gently beat the liver with carrots and onions. You should have a smooth paste.
Step 5
Add softened butter to the pate and beat well again with a blender. Taste it. If there is not enough salt or pungency, then add spices. If desired, you can add finely chopped greens.
Step 6
Divide the finished pate into storage jars with lids. Store it in the refrigerator. Bon Appetit!
