Shrimp can be used to make a wide variety of dishes. However, before embarking on culinary experiments, the seafood must be boiled. When choosing shrimp, pay attention to their appearance. The perfect frozen seafood is covered with a thin layer of ice (called frosting). Make sure that the water from the pot does not escape onto the stove. Remove the finished shrimps with a slotted spoon, cool and start cutting them.

If you have purchased frozen shrimp that has already been boiled, the process is greatly simplified. Boil a pot of water, adding salt, peppercorns, bay leaf. The set of spices can be diversified with dill or lemon juice - ready-made shrimps will acquire an interesting flavor nuance. Place the shrimp in a saucepan. Large tiger and royal ones are boiled for about 5 minutes, small change - no more than 2 minutes. It is not worth overcooking shrimp - their tender meat can acquire an unpleasant rubbery consistency.

Peeled frozen shrimp can also be boiled in beer. Pour water into a saucepan, add beer (light or dark), salt and bring to a boil. Place the shrimp in a saucepan and cook for about 5 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and eat immediately.
Step 6
If you intend to use shrimp in dishes that will undergo additional heat treatment, there is no need to cook them until fully cooked. Place frozen boiled food in a deep bowl and cover with boiling water. After dad minutes, the water can be drained, and the shrimp can be used for further cooking.
