Winter, and early spring, is the time to fight vitamin deficiency. During this period, more than ever, you need to ensure that the diet contains many vitamins and minerals valuable for the body. Well, or, if there is no stomach ulcer or allergy to the components, daily drink delicious cranberry juice from frozen berries with the addition of honey. Read on for how to cook it properly.

It is necessary

  • - frozen cranberries - 0.5 kg;
  • - boiled water - 2 liters;
  • - bee honey - 3-4 tbsp. spoons.

Instructions

Step 1

Before boiling frozen cranberry juice, the berry must be removed from the freezer, defrosted a little, poured into a colander and rinsed. Let the water drain. Then transfer the cranberries to a blender and turn into a puree-like gruel.

Step 2

Now you need to strain the resulting mass through clean cheesecloth. In this case, the juice that forms after this procedure should be left in a separate cup, and the berry cake should be poured into a saucepan. Fill it immediately with water. Put on a gas stove, bring to a boil and remove. Let cool slightly.

Step 3

Put honey in a warm fruit drink made from frozen cranberries. Remember that it is impossible to heat the bee product too much, otherwise it will lose all its valuable properties. But its amount can be safely adjusted to your liking: you can add a little more honey than indicated in the recipe, or much less (for example, if you prepared it for a child).

Step 4

Now there is little left to do: strain the fruit drink, pour the juice into it, which was previously left on the sidelines, stir well. You can drink it either warm (great for sore throat!) Or chilled. Bon Appetit!
