Cranberry juice can be consumed by adults and children. Making fruit drinks at home is not difficult, even for novice cooks. For 500 g of cranberries you need: sugar 250 g, water 2 liters.

Cooking method:

  1. Sort the berries, remove the spoiled and rotten ones. Wash and place in a ceramic or enamel bowl. It is not recommended to use metal dishes in order to prevent browning of the berries.
  2. Grind with a wooden mortar or crush in mashed potatoes so that the juice stands out.
  3. After a few layers of cheesecloth, strain the puree and squeeze the juice well.
  4. Transfer the squeezed pulp from cheesecloth to a saucepan, pour water and put on medium heat.
  5. Add sugar, mix well and cook for 25-30 minutes. Then cover the broth with a lid and leave for 1-2 hours.
  6. Strain the broth and mix with the juice.
  7. Put the saucepan with fruit drink on the fire, bring to a boil, boil for 1-2 minutes and immediately remove from heat.
  8. Pour the ready-made fruit drink into clean, dry cans or bottles, close tightly and store in a dark place.
  9. When consumed, can be diluted with water and added sugar.
