The consequences of drinking too much coffee

Coffee consumption rate
The allowed amount of coffee depends on the amount of caffeine that will be contained in one cup. A safe dose is calculated on the condition that you cannot drink more than 200 mg of caffeine at a time. This amount is equivalent to 2 teaspoons of instant coffee or 3 tablespoons of natural coffee. If this dosage is observed, the drink will have the desired effect and at the same time will not cause harm to health.
The permissible dose per day should not exceed 400-600 mg.
However, the amount of caffeine in one cup may depend on both the degree of roast of the coffee beans and the preparation of the beverage. For example, one European cup of espresso contains about 100 mg of caffeine, while a double espresso doubles the amount. A cup of cappuccino contains no more than 80 mg of caffeine, and the concentration of the substance in instant coffee can vary from 65 to 100 mg.
The absorption of caffeine also depends on the presence of additives in the drink and the total volume of liquid. For example, the digestibility of espresso will be much higher than that of an Americano, since the volume of a cup of espresso will be much lower. Cappuccino and Americano with milk will be absorbed even more slowly, which will affect the effect of caffeine on the body.
You can reduce the amount of caffeine you consume by changing the type of coffee you use. For example, the concentration of the substance in Arabica is much lower than in Robusta coffee.
The most useful drink is natural coffee, which is made from freshly ground beans. Instant coffee loses in the degree of nutrient content due to the processing that it undergoes during the manufacturing process. Instant coffee does not contain some of the lipids, vitamins, minerals and carbohydrates found in coffee beans.
