There are a lot of recipes for cooking potatoes, and all because this vegetable has millions of fans around the world. And even if you cook potatoes almost every day, it is unlikely that they can get bored. And in order to diversify the standard potato menu, you can bake it together with vegetables in cream - it will turn out very quickly and delicious.

It is necessary

  • - potatoes - 1.5 kg;
  • - large onions - 3 pcs.;
  • - Bulgarian pepper - 3 pcs.;
  • - garlic - 3 cloves;
  • - cream with a fat content of up to 15% - 300 ml (can be replaced with sour cream);
  • - hard cheese - 180 g;
  • - dried herbs (it is best to take dill) - 1 tbsp. l.;
  • - black pepper to taste;
  • - salt to taste;
  • - foil;
  • - baking dish;
  • - any oil for lubricating the mold.

Instructions

Step 1

Peel the potatoes, garlic and onions, and remove the seeds and stem from the bell pepper. Now the vegetables need to be cut: potatoes - in circles, onions - in half rings, pepper - in cubes, and garlic - in small pieces.

Step 2

Place the potato mugs and garlic in a bowl, add salt, dried dill and black pepper, then stir well together so that each circle is covered with seasoning.

Step 3

Now take a baking dish and grease it with any butter (butter or vegetable). Put in it first all the potatoes with garlic, then the onion layer, and last of all the bell peppers.

Step 4

Turn on the oven and set the temperature to 200 degrees. Meanwhile, pour the cream into a cup, add a little salt, a few pinches of black pepper and stir. Pour this cream over the vegetable blank and cover with foil, securing the edges.

Step 5

When the oven is warm enough, place the baking dish in it and bake the dish for 40 minutes. After the time has passed, remove the foil and cook for another 15 minutes. And then remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle the piece with grated cheese. Let the food stand in the oven for a while until the cheese melts (about 7-8 minutes).

Divide the cooked potatoes with vegetables in cream into portions and serve along with fresh salad or pickles.
