Homemade ham is much tastier and healthier than store-bought ham, and most importantly, you know what it is made of. It is most convenient to cook in a multicooker, but you can also cook in the oven or on the stove.

Ingredients:

  • 3 large chicken legs;
  • 600 g pork (you can add more chicken);
  • 1 carrot;
  • 1 onion;
  • half bell pepper (red);
  • 6 cloves of garlic;
  • 35 g gelatin;
  • salt and other spices of your choice.

Preparation:

  1. Wash all meat and cut into large pieces. Peel the onions and carrots, remove the seeds from the pepper. Cut the onion into quarters. Cut the peppers and carrots into large pieces (about the size of onion quarters). Put everything in the multicooker bowl, put 1, 5 tablespoons of salt and cover with water.
  2. Set the extinguishing program for 2 hours. (if your multicooker has a maximum time of 1 hour, then install the program 2 times). If you are cooking without a multicooker, put everything in a saucepan and simmer over low heat.
  3. Remove the meat from the multicooker. Remove bones and skin from chicken. Cut everything into small pieces and put it back in the bowl (do not touch the vegetables). And put on the "extinguishing" program for another hour. For those who cook without a multicooker, at this stage, you can send the meat to the oven.
  4. Soak gelatin in cold water (100 ml) for 10 minutes. When the program ends, drain the broth and return the meat back. Add soaked gelatin and a little broth. Stir everything well.
  5. Peel and pass the garlic through the garlic, add to the bowl. Also add spices and stir. Set the heating program for 10 minutes.
  6. Prepare a plastic 1, 5-liter bottle or pack of juice (if it has foil inside). Cut the top of the bottle or pack, wash well and dry.
  7. At this stage, olives or pickled cucumber can be added to the future ham, if desired. Bring to taste. Now we will transfer the meat to the bottle, tamping well. You can put it under oppression, then the consistency will be even denser. Send in the cold for 4 hours.
  8. At the end of the time, cut the bottle and chop our ham.
