Although the "Napoleon" made of lavash differs in its taste from the classic puff pastry cake, it is by no means worse. If you strictly follow the recipe for making sweets, using specific ingredients, then the food will turn out to be tender and moderately sweet.

It should also be borne in mind that the taste of the cake and its consistency directly depends on the lavash. Thin "pancakes" are ideal for the recipe, since it is thanks to them that the dessert turns out to be airy and tender. No, of course you can use thick sheets of pita bread in the preparation of the cake, in this case you will need fewer cakes, but the food will take more time to saturate with cream. Therefore, if you need to cook something quickly for tea, it is better to use a lot of thin cakes and not skimp on cream (the more there is, the softer the cake will turn out).

"Napoleon" from pita bread with custard without baking

The advantage of this cake is that it does not require baking and takes only half an hour to cook (this does not take into account the time for soaking). It is also worth noting that the dessert turns out to be more dietary than the classic version of the dish, its calorie content is only 240 kcal per 100 grams of product, while the calorie content of a regular cake is 350 kcal and more.

Ingredients:

  • 10 sheets of pita bread;
  • liter of milk;
  • three eggs;
  • three tablespoons of flour;
  • 50 grams of butter;
  • 200 grams of sugar (you can take less, it all depends on your taste preferences).

Step-by-step cooking recipe:

If the pita breads are rectangular, then use a sharp knife and a round plate of suitable diameters to cut out the rounded cakes. The recipe indicates that 10 sheets of pita bread are needed, so 20 cakes should be cut out of these sheets (the optimal amount to get a high cake).

Dry each cake on a hot frying pan on both sides. It is necessary to ensure that the sheets become brittle. Spend one to two minutes of time to dry each cake (make sure that the blanks do not burn).

Break eggs into a saucepan and add sugar to them. Whisk these ingredients until the mass is doubled. Add flour to the egg mass and beat again.

Add a liter of milk to the mixture, stir and put on the stove over low heat. Heat the mass to 70-80 degrees, remembering to stir the product so that it does not burn. As soon as bubbles begin to appear on the surface of the cream, remove the pan from the heat, add oil to the mixture and whisk everything.

Start assembling the cake. Put one cake on a flat dish and brush it generously with the previously prepared cream. Put the next piece of pita bread on the greased crust and also grease it with cream. Thus, follow the procedure with all the cakes.

Dry the scraps of pita bread that remained when cutting out the cakes in a pan, then use a rolling pin to grind them into medium-sized crumbs. Sprinkle the resulting product on top of the cake. Leave the cake at room temperature for an hour, and after the specified time, put it in the refrigerator to cool for another hour.

Before serving, the dish can be decorated as you wish. For decoration, cut into slices of fruits, berries or nuts are suitable.

"Napoleon" from lavash with condensed milk

If you want to enjoy a delicious dessert or to please your loved ones with such a meal, but there is absolutely no desire to bother with cooking for a long time, you can make a delicious pita cake with condensed milk. The delicacy created according to this recipe is not dietary, but still a couple of times a year you can give yourself a break and enjoy the taste of this dessert.

Ingredients:

  • two packages of pita bread;
  • a can of condensed milk;
  • 150 grams of butter.

Step-by-step cooking recipe:

First of all, decide on the shape of the future cake. If you want to make a rectangular cake, then just cut the pita sheets in half and trim the edges of the cakes so that they are the same size and shape.

Place all the cakes on top of each other and place on a dry baking sheet. Dry the sheets in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for five minutes (they should become brittle).

Grind the cake that was on top with a rolling pin into crumbs. Set the product aside.

Pour the condensed milk into a bowl and add grated butter to it (the butter must be frozen, then grated on a coarse grater and left at room temperature for 30 minutes to soften). Mix everything thoroughly.

Put a tray in front of you, and place one cake on it, grease it with condensed milk and butter. Put the next sheet of pita bread on the greased crust and also coat it with the "cream" of condensed milk. Continue to collect the cake until you run out of cakes or condensed milk. Sprinkle the Napoleon with previously cooked crumbs.

Let the food soak in "cream" at room temperature (30-40 minutes), then put the cake in the refrigerator to cool. You can serve dessert with any hot drink.

"Napoleon" from lavash with cottage cheese

If you want to prepare a delicious delicate dessert using homemade cottage cheese, then take a closer look at this recipe. This layered cake, richly soaked in sour cream and curd cream, has a rich creamy taste.

It is worth noting that if you add any food coloring to the cream, you can give the dish a more interesting color. Such a dessert, perhaps, will not leave indifferent any child.

Ingredients:

  • five to eight sheets of pita bread of a suitable size;
  • 500 grams of tender fatty cottage cheese;
  • 250 ml of sour cream 15% fat (thicker will not work, since the cakes are poorly soaked and the cake will turn out to be dry);
  • ½ cup sugar;
  • 50 grams of butter.

Step-by-step cooking recipe:

Pass the cottage cheese a couple of times through a sieve, add all the sugar and sour cream to it. Beat all the ingredients with a mixer (it is necessary that the sugar is completely dissolved).

Line a baking sheet with oiled parchment. Put the first sheet of pita bread on the parchment, brush it with melted butter with a brush, then use a spatula to apply a little curd-sour cream. Try to spread the cream evenly throughout the cake.

Put the next sheet of pita bread on the cream and repeat the procedure again. So collect the whole cake. The last layer - the final - cream.

Place the cake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 12-15 minutes. The cake is ready. It is better to cut the dessert while it is still hot.

"Napoleon" from pita bread: calorie content

The calorie content of a lavash cake directly depends on the cream with which the cakes are coated, and its amount (the fact is that the lavash itself is a low-calorie product - 110 kcal per 100 grams). For example, if custard is taken as a filling, then the calorie content of the food is no more than 250 kcal per 100 gram portion, if curd-sour cream - 300-350, but if the cream contains butter - more than 350 calories, and the more butter, the higher the calorie content, respectively.

Based on the above information, we can conclude that "Napoleon" from pita bread with custard is the lowest-calorie recipe presented here. Therefore, it is more preferable to food for people who do not want to gain extra pounds. Naturally, you should not use dessert in your daily diet, but as a one-time snack in two or three weeks it is quite.
