Pomegranate is a very tasty and very healthy fruit. Its benefits are due to its unique composition; it is a real storehouse of vitamins, minerals and other useful substances! The main benefit of the pomegranate is in its grains, although the peel of the fruit and even the leaves are also useful. For the pie, of course, it is better to use sweet and sour juicy grains.

- - 2 pomegranate fruits;
- - 230 g cold butter;
- - 200 g flour;
- - 150 g of sugar;
- - 4 eggs;
- - grated zest and juice of three lemons;
- - 4 tbsp. port wine boats;
- - 1 tbsp. spoon of honey.
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the pomegranates in half, remove all the grains, mix them with honey and port. It turned out pomegranate sauce, which will need to decorate the finished cake.
Step 2
Mix flour with 100 g butter, a pinch of salt and 2 tbsp. spoons of water. Knead the dough, wrap it in plastic foil, put it in a cold place for an hour.
Step 3
Take a metal bowl, beat eggs and sugar in it until frothy. Stir in the grated lemon zest, pour in the lemon juice. Add 130 g butter.
Step 4
Mix everything in a water bath with a mixer, the consistency should be a thick cream.
Step 5
Grease the cake pan with fat, lay out the dough, fill with cream on top. Bake at 200 degrees for half an hour in the oven. Let the cake cool, then remove it from the mold, garnish with a pomegranate sauce of your choice.
