From time to time, each housewife has a question: how to feed her household in the morning. Despite all the benefits of porridge, neither children nor husband will have breakfast with them every morning. Make them a light textured American style pancake.
It is necessary
- - 1 egg
- - 200 grams of flour
- - 150 grams of yogurt
- - 1 tsp. soda
- - 2-3 tbsp. l. Sahara
- - 150 grams of milk
- - salt
- - vegetable oil
- - blueberries

Step 1
For greater airiness, sift the flour through a sieve, add a pinch of salt and soda to it, mix thoroughly.

Add sugar to the flour mixture and mix everything well again.

Now liquid ingredients are added to the sweet flour mixture: milk, yogurt and an egg. Mix everything thoroughly to get a homogeneous mass, naturally without lumps.

A small cast iron skillet is best for baking pancakes. In principle, it can be large, but the diameter of the pancakes should be 10-12 centimeters. Preheat the pan and bake the pancakes one at a time in vegetable oil. They should come out light and with fried sides.

After the pancakes are ready, they are stacked on a dish, sprinkled with powdered sugar and decorated with berries. Thanks to natural yoghurt, which is part of the dough, the pancakes are very tender and airy. They can be served with sour cream or whipped cream, fruit jam, or any fresh berries.
Step 6
If there are fears that the morning time for making the pancake dough will not be enough, then you can make it in advance and then send it to the refrigerator overnight. In the morning, all that remains is to heat up the frying pan and bake the pancakes according to the American recipe.
