The bright and aromatic citrus-filled pie is simply a fabulous dessert that is easy to prepare and quick to eat. Such a budget recipe should be on the note of every housewife, since it requires a minimum of products that are often at hand, and a minimum of costs.

Ingredients for the dough:

  • 250 g of ordinary flour;
  • 100 g of whole grain flour;
  • 1 orange;
  • 1 tsp dry yeast;
  • 2 tsp honey;
  • 4 tbsp. l. sunflower oil (no aroma);
  • warm water;
  • salt.

Ingredients for the filling:

  • 2 oranges;
  • 2 bananas;
  • 1 tbsp. l. starch;
  • 180 g of sugar.

Preparation:

1. Thoroughly wash and peel one orange. Grate this peel on a fine grater, extracting the zest, and squeeze the juice with pulp from the peeled orange.

2. Mix the juice with the zest and add warm water so that you get 200 ml. liquids. Then add salt, honey and oil to the same liquid.

3. Mix two types of flour with dry yeast.

4. Combine both masses, kneading elastic, soft and pliable dough.

5. Roll the finished dough into a ball, place in a bowl, tighten with cling film and put in a warm place for at least an hour and a half.

6. While the dough is coming up, you can start preparing the filling. To do this, you need to take two more oranges, wash them thoroughly and cut into slices, and cut into slices without peeling. Moreover, if bones or hard films come across, then it is advisable to remove and cut them off.

7. Peel and cut bananas into rings.

8. Place orange slices and banana rings in a saucepan, cover with sugar and stir.

9. Place a saucepan over low heat, bring its contents to a boil and cook for 10 minutes.

10. Kill the finished fruit mass with a blender in mashed potatoes and cool completely.

11. Fill the cooled puree with starch and mix again.

12. Take a mold with high sides (preferred diameter 26 cm) and grease it with oil. Roll out 2/3 of the dough into a cake and put into a mold, making high sides.

13. Place the fruit puree on the crust and spread with a spoon.

14. Roll the remaining piece of dough into a thin crust.

15. Cut many circles out of the cake with a regular glass and place them along the sides of the form in a circle (on top of fruit puree), imitating a half-closed pie.

16. Pie with orange-banana filling, bake for 45-50 minutes in an oven preheated to 180-190 degrees.

17. Then remove from the oven, cool completely, transfer from the mold to a dish, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
