Rinse the beets well under running water, cut off their tops and tail.

Blanch the beets in boiling water for about 10-15 minutes. Then it needs to be cooled, peeled and cut into thin slices.
Step 3
At the bottom of the sterilized jar, you need to put onions, cut into rings. Add a couple of bay leaves to the onion and place the prepared beets on top.
Step 4
Salt the beets in a jar and cover with sunflower oil, you can add a couple of drops of olive oil for a scent.

Cover the jar with parchment paper and close. Then put the workpiece in a cool place and after a week you can enjoy a fragrant dish.
