Summer time has come - the time for fresh vegetables. Cucumbers do not leave the table, they are loved by everyone: fresh and salted, pickled and lightly salted, whole and finely chopped. But with the appearance of the first harvest on the cucumber garden, I want to pamper myself with lightly salted cucumbers. The easiest way is to make lightly salted cucumbers in a bag. It will not take long, incredibly tasty and simple!
Among the many methods of cooking lightly salted cucumbers, one stands out - dry salting. This is a great way to cook lightly salted cucumbers quickly.
As part of the recipe:
- cucumbers - 1 kg;
- salt - 1 level tablespoon;
- dill - 1 bunch;
- garlic - 2-4 cloves.
It is better to choose medium-sized cucumbers for cooking according to this recipe and always with pimples. This suggests that the variety is salted, not salad. For cleanly washed cucumbers, you need to cut off the ends, then put the cucumbers in a sturdy plastic bag. You can nest one package inside another for reliability. Send chopped garlic, salt and chopped dill there. The bag should be tied tightly and shaken to distribute the spices evenly.
Then put a bag of cucumbers in the refrigerator for 5-7 hours. During this time, it is necessary to shake the bag several times and do not forget to taste, because the cucumbers can be cooked earlier. Remove excess salt from ready-made cucumbers and you can start your meal.
To make the bagged pickles even faster, cut them into wedges or slices. Then the salting time will be reduced to 20 minutes.
Another option to make lightly salted cucumbers in a bag is to add herbs and various spices (to taste) to the above ingredients. It can be allspice peas, cloves, horseradish root or leaf, cherry and currant leaves, basil.
The salting process is the same, but leave the bag with cucumbers at room temperature for 3-5 hours. It is better to store ready-made salted cucumbers in the refrigerator.
There is a way to make the pickled cucumbers more savory in the bag. To do this, for 1 kg of cucumbers in the bag, you need to add 1 tbsp. a spoonful of vegetable oil, 0.5 tbsp. tablespoons of vinegar, half a teaspoon of granulated sugar.
If you add dry mustard to the same spices, the taste of lightly salted cucumbers will be different, more refined. Just two or three teaspoons of mustard will make a wonderful ensemble with the rest of the spices. This whole company, along with the cucumbers, must be placed in a bag, tied, shaken a couple of times, and in an hour you can try ready-made cucumbers.
There is one day a year when it is imperative to make lightly salted cucumbers in a bag, and in general, to pay special attention to this vegetable. This is Cucumber Day, which is celebrated annually on July 27th. This is one of the oldest vegetables in the world and the most beloved in Russia. In addition, it is lightly salted cucumbers that contain fiber, which promotes blood circulation in the vessels. Cucumbers prepared in this way promote good appetite and reduce stress.
