There are a huge number of recipes for pickling and pickling cucumbers, many housewives have their own favorites and specialties. But sometimes you want something unusual and delicious.
Korean cucumbers
To make preparations for the winter according to this recipe, you will need:
- 2 kg of cucumbers;
- 3 heads of onions;
- 3 pcs. sweet pepper;
- 3 large tomatoes;
- 1 head of garlic;
- salt;
- ground black pepper;
- vegetable oil.
Wash the cucumbers and cut them into strips. Put in a bowl and salt, mix the mass slightly and refrigerate for several hours. When the cucumbers produce juice, squeeze them through cheesecloth.
Peel the onion and cut into rings. Heat oil in a saucepan and fry the onion in it. Pepper seeds and cut into strips. Cut the tomatoes into slices. Add chopped peppers and tomato slices to the onion and simmer the vegetables together for about 15 minutes.
Add finely chopped garlic to the vegetable mixture. Season the mixture with ground black pepper. Mix everything and remove from heat. Let the vegetables cool.
Mix stewed vegetables with prepared cucumbers. Stir again and place tightly in clean jars, up to the shoulders. Place the lids on the containers and place in a large saucepan to sterilize for 30 minutes. Then immediately roll up and change.
Cucumbers "Conifers"
The needles give the cucumbers a unique aroma. They are strong and crispy. For 2 kg of small cucumbers, take:
- 3 small sprigs of pine;
- 1, 3 liters of apple cider vinegar;
- 50 g salt;
- 50 g sugar.
Wash the cucumbers. Then pour over each one in turn with boiling water and immediately fill it with cold water. Put pine twigs on the bottom in prepared jars, and prepared cucumbers on them.
Prepare the marinade. Boil apple cider vinegar, add sugar and salt to it, mix everything until dissolved. Pour the resulting marinade over the cucumbers and leave for 5-10 minutes. Then pour the marinade into a saucepan, boil again and pour over the cucumbers. Repeat the procedure three times. After that, roll up the cans and turn them over.
