Modern housewives have a lot of opportunities to save valuable time, for example, to make a cake from ready-made cakes. And if you think that this limits your imagination, then you are deeply mistaken. Try, for example, making a real Pancho at home, baking a waffle meringue cake or a Napoleon snack with salmon and cream cheese.

Homemade "Pancho" from ready-made cakes

Ingredients:

- 3 chocolate biscuit cakes;

- 1/2 tbsp. condensed milk (200 g);

- 90 g icing sugar;

- 200 g of canned pineapples (without liquid);

- 3 tbsp. 25% sour cream;

- 50 g of dark chocolate;

- 100 g of walnuts.

Place the sour cream in a large container and beat it with a whisk or mixer with condensed milk and powdered sugar, adding them in small portions. Cut pineapples into small pieces, crush the nuts in a mortar or coffee grinder. Place the crust on a round dish, brush with the prepared cream and cover with half the pineapple and nut mixture.

Break the remaining biscuit circles into slices, dip them in the sweet sour cream mixture and build a slide by mixing them with 1/2 fruit and 1/4 nuts on the already prepared base. Pour the remaining cream over the cake, starting at the top, smooth with the back of a spoon, and place in the freezer for 10 minutes. Melt the chocolate in a water bath or in the microwave, quickly pour it over the Pancho in thin streams and immediately refrigerate the dessert until it drips for a few hours.

Ready-made meringue cake

Ingredients:

- 6 wafer cakes;

- 4 egg whites;

- 1 tbsp. white sugar and 2 tbsp. for caramel;

- 100 g of walnuts;

- 250 g butter;

- 1 can of condensed milk (400 g).

Remove the butter 40 minutes before you start cooking. Grind proteins with sugar until stiff peaks. Spread this mixture on 4 cakes, place them on two large baking sheets and dry in the oven for 1 hour at 100oC. Chop the nuts and fry them in a hot skillet. Add sugar to the crockery and continue toasting the contents until it melts and turns into caramel. Transfer everything to a flat plate and cool.

Whisk soft butter with condensed milk. Make a meringue cake as follows: spread a little cream on an empty waffle cake, sprinkle with nuts, cover with a meringue cake, coat with nut cream again, etc. Finish off with an empty crust, sprinkle with leftover nuts and butter cream on the sides. Refrigerate it overnight.
