For a juicier and more tender salad, you can use herring in preserves. It is already soaked in spices and oil. Between the layers of vegetables, you can alternately use canned oil with mayonnaise. This allows the herring taste to penetrate the rest of the food faster.

If you have a desire to add some piquancy and sophistication to this dish, you can add the following ingredients to the herring under a fur coat:

- apple (sour) - 1 piece;

- carrots - 2 pieces;

- walnuts - 50 grams;

- ½ lemon.

Cooking spicy herring under a fur coat

The first step is to prepare the vegetables for the salad. Tubers of potatoes, carrots and beets should be well washed and boiled.

It is necessary to remember when cooking vegetables that potatoes take much less time than other root crops. Therefore, it is better to boil it separately.
