It is necessary
- - 300 g chicken fillet;
- - 1, 5 tbsp. vegetable oil;
- - 1 large onion;
- - 1 cm of fresh ginger;
- - 1 clove of garlic;
- - 1 green chili;
- - 1 tsp ground cumin;
- - 0.5 tsp ground coriander;
- - 0.5 tsp ground turmeric;
- - 1 tsp hot chili powder;
- - 3-4 curry leaves;
- - 200 g tomatoes s / s;
- - salt and pepper to taste;
- - 150 ml of water;
- - 0.5 tsp spice mixtures garam masala;
- Cilantro or parsley leaves.
Instructions
Step 1
Finely chop the onion. Cut the chicken into large cubes. Heat the oil in a thick-walled pan and put the onion there. While stirring, cook for 7 minutes: it should brown and soften.
Step 2
Peel and grate the garlic and ginger. Add to the onion and keep on fire for 2-3 minutes, not forgetting to stir.
Step 3
Then add the rest of the spices, except for the garam masala, and cook for another minute. Season the chicken pieces with pepper and salt and send them to the pan. Fry for about 3 minutes, until golden brown.
Step 4
Add tomatoes, water, bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. If the curry starts to stick to the bottom, add some more water.
Step 5
Add garam butter and cook without lid for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with chopped cilantro or parsley and serve.
