Delicacy nutria meat cannot be found on the shelves of ordinary shops and markets. However, there are people who want to try such an unusual delicacy. A standard nutria carcass weighs about 6-9 kg, so you have a great way to surprise not only family, but also friends with a dish.

Instructions

Step 1

Nutria with potatoes. You will need: 1 pc. nutria, 200 g of mustard, 300 g of sour cream (or mayonnaise), 1 kg of potatoes, spices (pepper, salt to taste).

Season the meat with spices, sour cream, mustard and place on a baking sheet. Preheat the oven to 180-200 degrees and put the meat on for 15-20 minutes. Peel and dice the potatoes, salt. Turn the meat over and arrange the potatoes around. Bake for 20 minutes. After 40 minutes, the dish is ready.

Step 2

Nutria in sauce. You will need: 1 pc. nutria, 200 g sour cream, 2 pcs. onions (turnip), 200 g flour, 1 glass of water, 2 tablespoons of oil (vegetable, for frying), spices to taste.

Divide the nutria meat into large pieces. Season with salt and pepper. Dip each piece in flour and fry in a pan until golden brown. Cut the onion into rings. Place pieces of fried meat in a cauldron or deep frying pan, put onion on top and cover with water. In an oven preheated to 200 degrees, put the cauldron and simmer for 30-40 minutes. Add sour cream 15 minutes before cooking. It is customary to serve this dish with cereals - rice or buckwheat.

Step 3

Stewed nutria. You will need: 1 pc. nutria, 2 pcs. pepper (bulgarian), 2 pcs. onions (onions), 2 pcs. carrots, a mixture of spices (basil, curry, salt, pepper), fresh herbs, sunflower oil.

Divide the nutria carcass into portions, season with spices. Fry over high heat until golden brown. Transfer the meat to a saucepan and add some water. Simmer over low heat for 30 minutes. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater, chop the onion. Peel the bell peppers and cut into strips. Fry all this for 7-10 minutes and add to the meat. After 30 minutes, put everything on a beautiful dish and garnish with fresh herbs. Bon Appetit!
