Not many in Russia have tried shark meat: some consider this dish exotic, some expensive, some never even thought of it. But all over the world, shark dishes are loved and appreciated for the special taste of either beef, or birds, or mackerel, opinions are divided here. At the same time, the shark has insanely tender white meat, completely lean and boneless. And immediately it is worth destroying the myth, the price of a shark is absolutely unbelievable, and about 160 rubles per kilogram.
It is necessary
- - shark steaks (a couple of steaks will be about 500 g);
- - wine vinegar or ordinary;
- - salt;
- - ground black pepper;
- - half a lemon;
- - sunflower oil;
- - soy sauce;
- - garlic (2 cloves).
Instructions
Step 1
First you need to defrost the steaks, then rinse them under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Next, coat the steaks with salt, pepper and just a few drops of vinegar. Leave to marinate for an hour.
Step 2
Then rinse again, dry with paper towels or napkins and put in a deep cup, pour soy sauce mixed with a couple of tablespoons of sunflower oil so that it slightly covers the steaks, and they can marinate. Cut the garlic into thin slices and put on one steak and on the other, also put lemon wedges on top. Already at this stage, you will feel the unusual smell of fish with spices, but again we leave the fish to marinate for 1, 5-2 hours in the refrigerator.
Step 3
Heat a frying pan with sunflower oil, take out the marinated steaks, and, holding them in weight, wait until the liquid drains, and then put in the pan. The oil will shoot anyway, this must be borne in mind, it is better to cover it with a lid. The steak is fried very quickly, literally 4 minutes on each side. By the way, you can fry steaks with or without garlic cloves left over from the marinade, this is optional.
