Shark steak requires some special preparations: the fillet is pre-soaked in lemon juice and marinated. This makes the meat soft, after which the delicate flavor is complemented by a vegetable stew with mushrooms. Shark steak and porcini mushrooms are available fresh frozen. This will not affect the amazing taste of the unusual dish.
It is necessary
- - shark steak (500 g);
- - lemon juice (100 g);
- - red pepper (1/2 tsp);
- - black pepper (1/2 tsp);
- - eggs (1 pc.)
- - breaded crackers (50 g);
- - olive oil (2 tablespoons);
- - porcini mushrooms (300 g);
- - sweet Crimean onion (1 onion)
- - sweet pepper (1 pc.)
- - salt (to taste).
Instructions
Step 1
Shark meat has a strange smell and a little bitter taste. Therefore, we soak the meat in water acidified with lemon juice. Shark meat is salty, there is no need to salt it.
Step 2
We clean the meat from the skin and remove the cartilage in the center. We get two pieces of meat, which we marinate with salt, red pepper, black pepper and lemon juice.
Step 3
Before frying, dip the steak in a beaten egg, then in breadcrumbs. Fry on both sides until golden brown in olive oil.
Step 4
Fry the mushrooms separately, cut into quarters. Then we sauté the onion, add straws of bell pepper and tomato slices. Put the mushrooms on top, add some salt to the stew and simmer for 15 minutes over low heat.
