Shark meat is rightfully recognized as one of the most refined delicacies. It is difficult to get it and even more difficult to prepare, but in the skillful hands, shark becomes an exceptionally tender and amazingly delicious dish.
It is necessary
- - shark steak;
- - olive oil;
- - soy sauce;
- - barberry;
- - lemon;
- - chilli.
Instructions
Step 1
Trim the skin off the steaks: it is very thick and unsuitable for food. Soak the meat in milk or cold water, after adding a spoonful of vinegar to it. Shark contains urea and has a characteristic unpleasant odor, so it must be soaked for at least six hours, and it is better to leave it overnight.
Step 2
Rinse and dry steaks and place in a pre-cooked bowl. They will need to be pickled.
Step 3
Take one lemon, one chili pepper, 50 ml of olive oil and the same amount of soy sauce, as well as a pinch of barberry. Core the pepper and cut into thin rings. Slice the lemon as well.
Step 4
Pour olive oil and sauce over the meat, top with chopped peppers and lemon, sprinkle with barberry. Leave the shark in the refrigerator under a press for two to three hours.
Step 5
After the allotted time, place the steaks in a preheated skillet with plenty of olive oil. Fry the fish on both sides until tender - this should take about ten minutes if broiled over medium heat.
