Step 1

Before preparing the dish, you need to clean the carp. To do this, rinse the fish well under running water, cut off the head (if desired, you can cook a little fish soup from the head).

Do not cut off the fins, with them the finished carp will look more beautiful and neat, take out the insides and rinse again, leave them aside to dry.

Step 2

Peel the onion and cut into rings (thickness to taste). Rinse the lemon, scald if desired, cut into rings.

Combine salt and pepper in a bowl. Grate the carp with the resulting dry mixture. If you use any other spices, then you will kill the taste of the fish. Place the carp in a cool place for 10-15 minutes (you can leave it at room temperature).
