Step 1
Millet porridge can be cooked on the stove or in the oven. The first method is faster, but in the oven the porridge acquires a special taste and aroma.
On the stove, millet porridge is prepared as follows. Go through the millet. Rinse it thoroughly 6-7 times, preferably with boiling water, until the water becomes clear after rinsing.
Step 2
Heat up the water. Pour millet with hot water, put on fire, salt, add sugar, remove the foam.
Leave the lid on to allow the water to evaporate before the millet is boiled.
Step 3
Heat the milk. Pour hot milk into a saucepan of porridge, reduce heat, put a lid on the saucepan and cook until thickened.
Put butter in the finished porridge and stir.
Step 4
You can add pumpkin to millet porridge. To do this, peel 1 kg of pumpkin from skin and seeds, cut into small cubes and put in porridge at the beginning of cooking.
Step 5
Use the following method to cook millet porridge in the oven. After washing the millet, boil water, add salt and sugar to it, add millet. Learn that when using this method of preparation, water should be 5-6 times more than millet.

Boil the millet in boiling water for 5 minutes, then drain the water and place the cereals in a ceramic dish. Add milk, butter to the mold, stir and close the lid.
