- - 2 green peppers;
- - 2 carrots;
- - onion;
- - 3 cloves of garlic;
- - olive oil.

Step 1
Homemade tomato sauce is made from vegetables baked in the oven. To do this, heat up the oven to 200C.

Wash the vegetables, peel the carrots and peppers, cut the onion in half.

Put the vegetables in a mold, sprinkle well with olive oil and bake for an hour or a little more: the vegetables should become very soft.
Step 4
Remove the peel from the cooled tomatoes and garlic. We rub vegetables through a sieve.

We do not season or salt the finished sauce - it is better to do this directly during cooking, since each product to which homemade tomato paste is added requires certain seasonings and spices.

You can store the sauce in sterile jars or frozen.
