It is necessary

    • water - 1 liter;
    • salt - 1 tablespoon;
    • granulated sugar - 1 tablespoon;
    • vinegar - 2 tablespoons.

Instructions

Step 1

Wash the grape leaves thoroughly with cold running water, let dry and carefully place them on top of each other in glass jars with a capacity of 0.5 liters (it is possible in others, but better not in large ones).

Step 2

Then pour boiling water over them and drain the water after 3-4 minutes. Repeat this procedure about 2-3 times.

Step 3

After that, pour the grape leaves with the marinade prepared according to the following recipe: put 1 liter of water over medium heat, add salt and sugar.

Step 4

Mix thoroughly until the components are completely dissolved and pour in the vinegar. As soon as the marinade boils, pour over the grape leaves.

Step 5

Then put the jars with pickled grape leaves to sterilize for 5 minutes, then close the lids and store in a cool dark place.

Step 6

To preserve grape leaves, collect them dry and 5-7 pieces each and, rolling into rolls, put them tightly in half-liter jars and close with nylon lids, after dipping them for 5-10 seconds in hot water. Store in a cool, dark place.

Step 7

Alternatively, grape leaves can be prepared using pickling. To do this, put them in jars in the same way as for pickling. Then fill with cold salt water (100 grams of salt per 1 liter of water). Cover with nylon lids and store in a cool place, in a cellar, for example. Approximately a half-liter jar uses 330 grams of grape leaves and 180 milliliters of brine.
