Rinse the mushrooms well, cut off the damaged areas, cut into small slices or cubes - to taste.

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet. Peel the onion, chop finely. Fry the onion lightly, then add the mushrooms to the pan, stir. Fry until the liquid evaporates. After the liquid from the mushrooms has evaporated, season with salt and spices to taste. Brown the mushrooms.

Defrost the dough in advance. If there are two layers of puff pastry in the package, then on one you will need to lay out the mushroom filling, and cover with the second on top. If there is only one layer of dough, then simply unfold it in a baking dish. In this case, the cake will be open.

This recipe uses two layers of puff pastry. Place the filling on the first layer, sprinkle with grated cheese. Cover the filling with a second layer, pinch the edges. Brush with vegetable oil.
Step 6
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Bake the cake for about 25 minutes. Remove the finished cake from the oven, cool slightly, cut into portions and serve.
