Quinoa is like American rice that can compensate for the lack of meat in the diet because quinoa is high in minerals and vitamins. It's also the perfect balance of proteins. The Veggie Warm Quinoa Salad can be served as a stand-alone meal.
It is necessary
- For four servings:
- - 1 glass of quinoa;
- - 2 stalks of celery;
- - 1 carrot;
- - 1 red bell pepper;
- - 1 bunch of green onions;
- - 50 g of Adyghe cheese;
- - 1/3 lemon;
- - dried thyme, dried basil;
- - olive oil;
- - salt, black pepper.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the quinoa in warm water, cook for 12 minutes (for 1 glass of rice - 2 glasses of water).
Step 2
While the quinoa is boiling, cut the peeled carrots into large rings, send them to stew in a skillet. After 5 minutes add chopped celery and pepper. Stew vegetables with thyme or basil.
Step 3
Pour the prepared quinoa into a skillet, add lemon juice, salt, pepper. Mix all the ingredients, simmer for another 1 minute together.
Step 4
Transfer the finished dish to a salad bowl, add chopped green onions, pour in olive oil, lay out pieces of fresh cheese. Stir.
