Cheese balls with herbs will be the perfect snack on the festive table. To add originality to the dish, each ball can be pricked with a decorative skewer before serving.

- - 200 g of hard cheese
- - 50 g olives
- - 80 g butter
- - greens
- - 50 g walnuts
- - lettuce leaves

Step 1
Grate the cheese on a fine grater. Finely chop the olives. Chop the walnuts. Soften butter with a fork, warming it to room temperature.
Step 2
Mix prepared cheese, nuts, olives and butter into a homogeneous mass. Stir well and roll into small balls.
Step 3
Chop the herbs finely. You can use dill, green onions, parsley. Roll each cheese ball in greenery and pierce with a decorative skewer. The appearance of the dish can be varied in color and for the shell you can use not only greens, but also crab sticks, pistachios, bread crumbs.
Step 4
Place the lettuce leaves in an even layer on a plate. Place the cheese balls in the center. Garnish the edges of the plate with fresh vegetables cut into small cubes. You can fill the dish with any sauce.
