Raw foodists eat only raw food of natural origin, but they also have the opportunity to indulge in sweets. If a person adheres to this principle of nutrition, he may not give up pastries and cakes - they just have to cook them using a slightly different method.
It is necessary
- Almonds - 250 g;
- Dried apricots - 3 pcs;
- Banana - 1 pc;
- Lemon - 1 pc;
- Dates - 100 g;
- Poppy - 40 g;
- Orange - 1 pc;
- Avocado - 1 pc.
- Cinnamon, honey, nutmeg, coconut, cocoa to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Place the almonds in a bowl and soak in clean water overnight. In the morning it will need to be peeled. Soak dried apricots and dates for about half an hour before starting the cake preparation.
Step 2
Grind the peeled almonds with a blender. To make it more convenient, add a glass of water to the bowl. Grinding should be done at high speed, which will take about 4 minutes.
Step 3
Pass the almond mass through a sieve. Then put the dishes with it aside for a while. Do the same with dried apricots and dates, having previously freed them from the seeds. Now combine the ingredients. You will get a mass of dates, dried apricots and nuts, which must be divided into three equal parts.
Step 4
Mix one part of the date mass with the poppy seeds, set aside. Combine the remainder with almonds, add cinnamon and honey, nutmeg, juice squeezed from one orange, cocoa there. Make sure that the orange-almond mixture is not dry, but you should not make it too thin. Grind the banana and avocado in a blender, adding honey and cocoa to them, you get a cream.
Step 5
Now you need a rimmed shape. The cake should be laid out in layers, the order is as follows: date-nut mixture, dates with poppy seeds, orange-almond mass and cream of banana and avocado. Sprinkle the top of the cake with cocoa, you can decorate with fruit slices, beautifully arranging them. The cake should sit for a few hours to get a good soak.
